ABOUT LIBERTY THEATRE
The newly remodeled Liberty Theatre was built in the late 1800's. Through the years it has seen a variety of uses and owners. The Liberty Theatre has now
truly come into its own and has been crafted into an exceptional venue that is elegant, intimate and relaxing.
In June of 2005 a group of local business people acquired the building and began an extensive remodeling and redesign of the facility. The building
showcases two large murals with historic depictions of Fort Scott, warm and inviting color schemes, comfortable lobby areas, a full bar and buffet area, an
outdoor courtyard area, a stage, new sound and lighting and an overall capacity of 515 people.
The Liberty provides various forms of entertainment and is also available for receptions, weddings, meetings, banquets and corporate events.
RENTAL RATES
Mon, Tues, Wed - $750 per day, Thurs - $1000 per day, Fri, Sat, Sun - $1500 per day
Refundable Cleaning/Damage Deposit - $200, 50% non-refundable rental deposit and refundable cleaning/damage deposit due upon booking.
Balance due on beginning of rental date.
MEDIA OPTIONS
Projector w/inputs for DVD, PC, HDMI, etc. - $85
Internet Access - $50
Basic Sound System w/inputs and 1 microphone - $100. Liberty will set up and provide basic instruction on operation of our portable sound system. Customer
will be responsible for any damage to or replacement components of the system.
Full House Sound System and Lighting with Liberty Theatre Operator - $600. The Liberty Theatre is fully equipped with professional sound and lighting
systems. These systems are operated only by our staff and are available for your event if desired.
LINENS
White - $8 per Table. Customer may rent linens in other colors from an alternate party supplier and bring them into the Liberty for their event. Liberty Theatre
will assume no responsibility for damage or loss of any kind. White linens must be rented from the Liberty Theatre.
BAR AND CATERING
Call 620-223-4060 for Details. Outside alcohol is not allowed to be brought in to the Liberty Theatre for any event of any kind.
